What’s a Tempo run?

A tempo run is a fast run run- I always describe it as a run that’s hard but comfortable.  

Aiming for your 10k – half marathon pace depending on what we are working towards.

Never a done a 10k of half marathon? 

Ok run at speed, just to where you feel you are having to really work and hold it there and keep,working!! 

There are lots of other ways of describing the tempo run, describing the energy systems that we use.  For these questions I’m keeping it simple.  If you want to ask about it some more then please ask away!
